What this site had to do.
- Separate the bar from the steakhouse without splitting the site in two.
- Put the phone number where a thumb already is.
- Treat live-music nights and private events as first-class questions.
02 / The decision
One thing I did differently.
The bar and the steakhouse share one site but keep separate sections. Splitting them across two pages would make a guest choose before they had even seen the menu. The phone number sits low on the screen, in thumb reach, the whole way down.
